2.Mount the rotary laser on the tripod so that the X-axis points away from the wall as shown.

3.Turn the laser on by pressing the ON/OFF button.

4.Mark the center of the beam elevation on the wall (a).

5.Turn the entire laser unit 180° so that the X-axis points towards the wall and mark the center of the beam elevation (b).

6.If the distance between the two marks (a, b) is no more than 1/8" (3 mm), the laser is properly calibrated.

7.Repeat the above steps for the Y-axis by first pointing the Y-axis away from the wall then turning the entire laser unit 180° again.

Repairs

To assure product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, repairs, maintenance and adjustments should be performed by a DEWALT factory service center, a DEWALT authorized service center or other qualified service personnel. Always use identical replacement parts.

This warranty does not cover part failure due to normal wear or tool abuse.
