ENGINE OIL LEVEL CHECK
1.Drive the machine on a solid and level ground.
2.Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
3.Engage the parking brake (21, Fig.
4.Open the engine hood (5, Fig. F) and fasten it with the support rod (6, Fig. F).
5.Check the oil level as shown in the Diesel Engine Manual.
6.If necessary, add oil as shown in the Diesel Engine Manual.
NOTE
Top up by using the same type of oil that is in the engine. See Diesel Engine Data paragraph.
7.Close the engine hood (5, Fig. F).
ENGINE OIL CHANGE
1.Drive the machine on a solid and level ground.
2.Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
3.Engage the parking brake (21, Fig.
4.Open the engine hood (5, Fig. F) and fasten it with the support rod (6, Fig. F).
5.Change the oil as shown in the Diesel Engine Manual.
NOTE
Use the same type of oil that is in the engine. See Diesel Engine Data paragraph.
6.Close the engine hood (5, Fig. F).
ENGINE OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT
1.Drive the machine on a solid and level ground.
2.Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
3.Engage the parking brake (21, Fig.
4.Open the engine hood (5, Fig. F) and fasten it with the support rod (6, Fig. F).
5.Replace the oil fi lter as shown in the Diesel Engine Manual.
6.Close the engine hood (5, Fig. F).
ENGINE AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT
WARNING!
Protect body parts (eyes, hair, hands, etc.) properly, when performing cleaning procedures using compressed air or water gun.
1.Prepare the machine as shown in After Using the Machine paragraph.
2.Start the engine as shown in the relevant paragraph.
3.Turn the engine throttle lever (19, Fig. B - 29, Fig. C) to “MAX”.
4.Lift the hopper (2, Fig. F) by pushing and holding the right distributor lever (12, Fig. B - 31, Fig. C).
5.Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
6.Install the support rods (4, Fig. F).
7.Remove the engine air fi lter cover (13, Fig. F).
8.Remove the wing nut (1, Fig. AB), then remove the air fi lter element (2). Replace the element.
9.Remove the nut (1, Fig. AC), then remove the fi lter safety element (2). Replace the element.
10.Perform steps 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 in the reverse order.
CAUTION!
If the machine is equipped with double suction filter clean also the
ENGINE RADIATOR FIN CLEANING CHECK
1.Drive the machine on a solid and level ground, then engage the parking brake (21, Fig.
2.Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
3.Open the engine hood (5, Fig. F) and fasten it with the support rod (6, Fig. F).
4.Check if the fi ns of the radiator (36, Fig. E) are clean, as shown in the Diesel Engine Manual.
5.Close the engine hood (5, Fig. F).
