6.2.3 Troubleshooting Fryers Equipped with Analog Controllers

FRYER OPERATES

PROPERLY BUT "POPS" WHEN BURNERS LIGHT.

Place power switches in OFF

position. Verify that combustion air

blower shutter is open and that blower is clean. Place power switches in ON position.

POWER LIGHT ON,

TROUBLE LIGHT ON,

HEAT LIGHT OFF,

BURNERS DO NOT

LIGHT.

Place power switches in OFF position. Swap controller with another known to be working. Place power switches ON.
