DPermanent In-Vehicle Hardware Installation

Cellular antennas

Your system may include magnetic-mount or permanent mount antennas, depending on the order.

1Identify the antennas.

2Install permanent-mount antennas according to the antenna manufacturer’s instructions.

3Route the antenna cables through the vehicle to the area where the system is installed.

4If equipped, attach the antenna adapters to the antenna cable, then connect the adapter to the phone. See Table 1 on page 39 for adapter part numbers.

Computer mount installation

If your system includes a computer mounting kit, follow the installation instructions packaged with it. Refer to the computer manufacturer’s documentation to identify the computer connectors.

1Install the computer mounting kit.

2Attach the computer to the mounting bracket.

3Connect the USB data cable to the USB port of the computer.

4Connect the power cable to the computer.

5Connect the opposite end of the power cable to the lighter socket.
