Removing the Optical Flex Cable
1.Remove the two T6 screws from the cable attached to the logic board.
2.Lift the flexible cable out of the rear housing.
Replacing the Optical Flex Cable
1.Position the cable into the rear housing.
2.Replace the two T6 screws that secure the optical flex cable to the logic board.
3.Replace the optical fan.
4.Replace the optical drive.
5.Replace the T6 screws on the optical flexible cable.
6.Replace the display panel.
7.Replace the front bezel.
8.Clean and replace the glass panel. Note: This step is very important. Follow the procedures to ensure the glass is clean and free of particles.
9.Replace the access door.
