iMac (24-inch Mid 2007) Take Apart — Inverter Cable 98

Replacing the Inverter Cable

Remove the LCD panel from the ESD bag.1.

Connect the inverter cable to the inverter board on the rear of the display panel.2.

Connect the other end of the inverter cable to the power supply. 3.

Lower the display panel into the computer.4.

Connect the display temp sensor cable to the left side of the logic board.5.

Built-in iSight Camera The built-in camera is not recognized. Camera recognized but no video. Camera image quality poor. Camera recognized but no audio. Audio quality is poor. Speakers Cant hear sound from the speakers. I hear sound out of only one speaker. Mouse The scroll bar on my mouse does not work in all directions. My mouse doesnt work at all. My mouse works intermittently (the cursor freezes randomly) or is slow to respond. My Apple wireless mouse is slow or not tracking correctly. Keyboard Certain keys or none of the keys on the keyboard function. My keys are sticky or slow to respond. When I type, strange characters appear on the screen. The USB port on my keyboard doesnt work. My Apple wireless keyboard is not responding correctly. Error Beep(s) Power On Self Test (POST) Tones iMac display is black and the system beeps nine times (3 short, 3 long, 3 short), then repeats USB A USB device doesnt work. I see a message saying not enough power to function.
