How to initialize a hard disk
You initialize an Apple SCSI hard disk by using a program called
Drive Setup, which is on the floppy disk labeled Disk Tools that came with your computer. If your computer came with a

2Open the Drive Setup icon.
You may need to look in a folder called Utilities to find Drive Setup.
3In the list of drives, click the disk you want to initialize.

4Click Initialize to initialize the hard disk.
5Click Quit when you see a message reporting that initialization was successful.
