Connecting to a LocalTalk network
To connect your Macintosh to a LocalTalk network, you will need LocalTalk cables and a LocalTalk adapter. In most cases, the Apple LocalTalk Locking Connector Kit

Note: At your location, there may be a network administrator who is responsible for network maintenance and upkeep. If so, ask your network administrator to help connect your computer to the network.
To connect your Macintosh to a LocalTalk network, do the following:
1Shut down your Macintosh.
2Attach the LocalTalk adapter to the printer port on your computer.
