Dening home & work
As you use Google Now, you may be asked to conrm you r home
or work addre ss to ge t commute trafc information, travel h elp,
and more. You can change thes e addresses in se veral other ways:
• When a Trafc card appears for home or work, touc h Menu>
Edit.
• Open the Maps app, nd your own location, touch your im age
on the map, and then Locati on history > Cha nge home locat ion
/ Change work location.
• Visit maps.google.com from a browser and open M y Places.
• Visit https://www.google.com/latitude/b/0/history/dashboard
from a browser, click Change next to T ime at Work or Time at
Home, edit the address , and click Save.
You can turn off and delete your l ocation history and still u se
Google Now, but certain k inds of information , such as commute
trafc, may be limited or wo n’t show up at all.
About Web History & other dat a
Google Now uses data from mul tiple sources to h elp predict w hat
you need. For example, if yo u have a synced calen dar entry for a
dentist appointme nt, Google Now can c heck traf c and sug gest
when to leave. And if you have rele vant searches saved in your
Web History, such as for your favo rite sports team or fo r upcom-
ing flights, Google Now c an also show cards for spor ts scores,
flight status, and more .
