You can extend your battery ’s life between char ges by turning off
features that you don’t nee d. You can also monito r how apps and
system resources consum e battery powe r.
To control battery settin gs, go to Settings > Device > Batter y.

Extend the life of your batter y

• If you aren’ t using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or GPS , use the Setti ngs
app to turn them off. The GPs se tting is located in Se ttings >
Personal > Location services.
• Don’t leave th e Maps or Navigation apps o pen on t he screen
when you’re not using them. They use GPS (an d thus more
power) only when they’re r unning.
