To change ringtone and vibra te options for all standard noti-
cations, s tart from the Google Now s creen, touch Menu >
Settings > now cards, and ad just the options under Standard
Notications.
Turn off Google now
in addition to stopping the d isplay of Google Now car ds, turning
off Google Now also return s settings for indi vidual cards or noti -
cations to their default s.
1. open the Goo gle Now screen.
Touch the search bar at the top of a Hom e screen, or swi pe up
from the bottom of your table t while viewing a ny screen.
2. To uch Menu > Set tings > now cards, then sl ide the switch at
the top right to off.
3. i n the Turn of now cards dial og, decide whe ther you also want
to turn off location histo ry. if you do, chec k Also turn off Loc a-
tion histo ry.
Turning off location histo ry may affect the way othe r Google
products work.
