Initialization	A computer-aided maintenance system that offers AUDIX maintenance services at a
and	centralized location. Major and minor alarms are sent over the AUDIX ALARM
Administration	(H02) link using existing switch alarm-reporting facilities.
System (INADS)
Initialization	Function 3 on the Control Mode Menu that displays the last hardware initialization
History	message.
Initialization	A series of initialization choices available by manually selecting a nonstandard
Options	initialization. The options include extended RAM tests, standard or nonstandard boot,
	and stop points.
Initialization	An initialization option available through manual selection of initialization options,

Intelligent Unit	Any circuit pack or group of packs controlled by a single microprocessor or
	microcontroller that coordinates maintenance activities for that unit.
Interface	The device or software that forms the boundary between two devices or parts of a
	system, allowing them to work together.
Isolating Data	A synchronous, full duplex data device used for direct cable connections between an
Interface (IDI)	AUDIX with an SCPI and the switch DCIU.
