During the playback of MP4 clips, when [Date/ Time] is set to [On] only the date of recording is displayed. * When the frame rate is set to 23.98P, the time code is set to [NDF] and this setting cannot be changed.

[XF Legacy Sync]: Determines the characteristics of the synchronization reference output signal (A96) and the characteristics of the time code input/output signals and the genlock reference signal when the frame rate is set to 23.98P.

[On]: Synchronization mode compatible with older Canon XF series camcorders. When the frame rate is set to 23.98P, synchronizes the time code at a 30-frame signal and the Genlock signal at a 29.97 Hz or 59.94 Hz signal. A 59.94i (or 59.94P) signal is output as the synchronization reference output. Use this setting to synchronize the camcorder with a Canon HD Camcorder XF105 or XF305.

[Off]: Standard synchronization mode. When the frame rate is set to 23.98P, synchronizes the time code at a 24-frame signal and the Genlock signal* at a 23.98 Hz signal. The synchronization reference output signal has the same frequency as video output from 3G/HD-SDI terminal. Select this setting to synchronize the camcorder with a Canon HD amcorder XF205 or with one of the camcorders/digital cinema cameras in the CINEMA EOS SYSTEM lineup.

* Only when [¢Video Setup] >[3G/HD-SDI] is set to [Direct].
