UPC

Detect UPC-A/UPC-E barcodes.

[Enable] Check Box

Detect and read UPC-A/UPC-E barcodes.

[Addon]

Set how to handle addon codes included in barcodes.

Off: Ignore addon codes.

On: Read addon codes.

Auto: Detect and read addon codes automatically.

[Checksum]

This check box is enabled when [Checksum] is selected, and outputs the read checksum.

[Output Header]

Select this check box to output header codes.

Hint

•To detect barcodes with and without add-on codes at the same time, select [Auto] for the addon setting before scanning.

•When the barcode type is unknown, enable detection of all types (Auto Detect), and deselect the Checksum boxes before scanning.

[Pre Imprinter] and [Post Imprinter] Tab Sheets

The [Pre Imprinter] tab sheet is displayed when an optional pre-imprinter unit is installed, and allows you to imprint any character string or counter on to documents before scanning.
