■Locking the Keys (Invalidate Key Function)

Press and hold the [Enter] key for approximately 5 seconds to display the Invalidate Key setting.

Enter Key

Press the [] key to select [OK], and press [Enter] to disable the keys.

IMPORTANT

•To unlock the keys, press and hold the [Enter] key again for approximately 5 seconds, or turn the scanner OFF and back ON.

•After turning the scanner OFF, wait at least 10 seconds before turning it back ON.

■Imprinter (Optional)

The scanner imprinter options consist of the Pre-Imprinter, which prints a text string on document pages before scanning them, and the Post-Imprinter, which prints a text string on document pages after scanning them. For details, contact your dealer or service representative.

•The text to print and the printing position can be specified in the ISIS/TWAIN driver. (See p. 8-24.)

•Even if the post-imprinter is not installed, you can add a specified text string onto scanned images.
