Preparing the Document Eject Tray

The Eject Tray includes two Document Eject Guides, the Eject Tray Extension and Eject Paper Stopper, to be adjusted to match the length of your documents.

■Document Guides

Slide the document eject guides to match the width of your documents.

Hint

•The position of the document eject guides can be shifted to the left or right by holding one guide in place while moving the other.

•To reset the guides so that they are equidistant from the center, spread the guides all the way to the left and right.

■Document Eject Tray Extension

Pull out the tray extension to match the length of your document.

■Eject Paper Stoppers

Raise the appropriate Eject Paper Stopper to stop ejected documents from spilling out of the eject tray.

Hint

The eject paper stoppers are attached to the document tray extension, so you can adjust their positions by moving the tray extension to suit your document length.
