Ec-A: Standard microprism

Ec-D: Laser-matte with grid

Compatible with all EF lenses. Lenses with a maximum aperture smaller than f/5.6 will cause the focusing screen’s microprism to darken.

Compatible with all EF lenses. Ideal for architectural photo- graphy and photo duplication work.

Ec-B: New split screen

Ec-H: Laser-matte with scale

Compatible with all EF lenses. Lenses with a maximum aperture smaller than f/5.6 will cause the focusing screen’s split portion to darken.

Ec-CIII: Laser-matte

EOS-1 V’s standard focusing screen. The CIII logo is imprinted on the lug to distinguish it from the Ec-N.

Ec-CII: Laser-matte

EOS-1N’s standard screen.

Ec-R New Laser-matte

EOS-1N RS’s stan- dard screen.

Compatible with all EF lenses. The scales at the center and periph- ery help you compose shots for close-ups and photomicrogra- phy.

Ec-I: Laser-matte with cross hair reticle

Use the cross hair at the center to focus. Suited for photomicro- graphy and astropho- tography.

Ec-L: Cross split screen

Compatible with all EF lenses. Focus with the vertical and horizontal splits. Lenses with a maximum aperture smaller than f/5.6 will cause the focusing screen’s split portion to darken.
