2.3.10Infrared Communication (IR)

The infrared communication function of this terminal supports the protocol of IrDA 1.0

(see note below) and IrDA 1.1 standards. IrDA 1.0 can be used as the COM port for a general RS-232C. IrDA 1.1 can provide communication at a maximum rate of 4 Mbps by means of the dedicated utility (FLINK utility).
