When you start up the system by turning the power supply switch to the ON () position, the following should occur:
•You should immediately hear the fans operating.
If not, proceed to the “Troubleshooting the Cooling Subsystem” section on page
•The LEDs on the router should come on as follows:
–The power LED (PWR) comes on immediately and indicates that the router is receiving power. This LED comes on during a successful router boot and remains on during normal operation of the router.
If this LED remains off when you start the router, either there is a problem with the power supply (it is damaged or not connected correctly), or the network processing card is not connected properly. Proceed to the “Troubleshooting the Power Subsystem” section on page
