Connecting Conveying Lines

The vertical conveying tubes and flexible conveying hoses may have been removed for shipping. To assemble:

When configured as a central dryer, the MDC option is not available.

Vacuum receiver

1Insert each vertical conveying tube into its quick disconnect fitting

on the MDC. Push the tube down until you feel it seat snugly inside the

disconnect fitting. Tighten the thumb screws on the fittings to secure the tubes.

2Secure flexible conveying hoses to the vertical tubes with hose clamps. Insert the tube at least 1 inch

(2.54 cm) into the flexible hose. Secure the hose clamp at least 1/4 in. (0.64 cm) from the end of the tube.

NOTE: Do not allow the flexible hoses to kink or

crimp.

3Attach the flexible conveying hoses to the appropriate inlet and outlet of the vacuum receiver. Push the quick disconnect fitting on the material conveying hose over the material inlet tube. Push the quick disconnect

fitting on the return air conveying hose over the conveying air outlet of the vacuum receiver. Tighten the thumb screws on Manual background the fitting.Manual background
