Cleaning the Hopper

CAUTION: Hot surfaces. Always protect yourself from hot surfaces inside and out- side the dryer and drying hopper.

The hopper, spreader cone, and discharge assembly should be cleaned thoroughly between material changes to prevent resin contamination.

Place a container beneath the hopper’s drain port to catch the material.

1 Close the hopper slide gate.

2Remove the drain-port plug. Pull the pin and allow the plug to drop.

3Remove the spreader cone. Open the hopper door. Reach into the hopper. Grasp the spreader cone tube, lift up slightly, twist and then push down to release it. Tilt the cone assembly and pull it out through the hopper door.

4Clean the spreader cone and the inside of the hopper. Make sure you also clean the return air screen at the return air outlet of the hopper.

5Repeat the steps in reverse order to reassemble the hopper before adding material.

The bristles are designed to glide smoothly through hair, reducing tugging and breakage, making it an excellent choice for those looking to maintain their hair's health while styling. Additionally, the Conair 25 comes equipped with a retractable bristle design that makes cleaning easier.

The Conair 50 is a more versatile option, boasting a larger barrel and multiple attachments, including a wider brush head for added volume and a smaller size for tighter curls. Additionally, its longer power cord provides extra flexibility in styling.

Lastly, the Conair 15 hot air brush is specifically designed for fine or damaged hair.
