Removing Memory Modules

1Open the system. See "Opening the System" in Troubleshooting Your System."

2Locate the memory module sockets. See Figure 6-1.

3Press down and out on the ejectors on each end of the socket until the memory module pops out of the socket. See Figure 6-12.

4Close the system. See "Closing the System" in "Troubleshooting Your System."

Control Panel

The following procedure documents the steps for removing and replacing the control panel.

1Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

2Dismount the system from the rack.

3Remove the bezel.
