Connecting a USB Printer
NOTE: You can connect USB devices while the computer is turned on.
1Complete the operating system setup if you have not already done so.
2Attach the USB printer cable to the USB connectors on the computer and the printer. The connectors fit only one way.

3Turn on the printer.
4If your computer is running the Windows Vista™ operating system, click the Windows Vista Start button , and click Network→ Add a printer to start the Add Printer Wizard.
5Install the printer driver if necessary. See "Reinstalling Drivers and Utilities" on page 76 and the documentation that came with your printer.
