12Reconnect the system to the electrical outlet, and turn on the system and attached peripherals.

13Run the appropriate online diagnostic test.

If the test fails, the processor is faulty. See "Getting Help."

14Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet.

15Open the system. See "Closing the System."

16Replace the processor with the processor you removed in step 10. See "Installing a Processor."

17Repeat step 11 through step 13.

If the problem persists, the system board is faulty. See "Getting Help."
