Removing an Optional Fourth SATA Hard Drive (Tower Computer)

NOTE: A tower configuration is illustrated.

1If you are replacing a hard drive that contains data that you want to keep, back up your files before you begin this procedure.

2Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 143.

3Remove the computer cover (see "Removing the Computer Cover" on page 145).

4Remove the front panel (see "Removing the Front Panel" on page 154).

5Disconnect the power cable from the back of the hard drive.

6Disconnect the serial ATA cable from the back of the hard drive and from

the SATA connector on the system board.
