3.11.4 Password Setting
This function sets the password table and determines the security access level that can
change users passwords.. There are 1 ~ 7 password security levels:
Level 0: No security. No protection. Everyone can use this element.
Level 1: Low security level. The user whose security level is equal to and higher than Level 1
can use this element.
Level 4: Medium security level. The user whose security level is equal to and higher than Level
4 can use this element.
Level 7: High security level. The user whose security level is equal to and higher than Level 7
can use this element.
The user’s highest security level, i.e. the password protection for the file (project) can not be
set here. To set the highest priority password, click Options > Configuration > General >
Security option.
The password setting table can also be defined by using Screen Editor software program. The
user can create a keypad element to edit and modify the password table.
The password can be a 8-digit password that contains 0 ~ F characters regardless of
uppercase/lowercase.
