3.14.2.3 Keypad Entry
For the convenience of editing the macro, the system allows the user to edit the macro
commands by keying in the commands manually. The system will check the validity
automatically, if there are any errors, a warning dialog box will pop up to alert the user.
It is not critical that the user place the correct amount of spaces between commands
and operands, when the line is updated the system will automatically adjust the
spacing and warn of formatting errors. In addition, a list of the macro commands will
appear automatically when the user keys in the commands manually (Fig. 3-14-33). It is
easy for the user to select the required command quickly.

After the macrom command is entered, the user’s screen will look like Fig. 3-14-34

After complete macro command editing, the user needs to perform Syntax Check and
Update function to makes sure that the macro syntax is correct. For more details on
Update and Syntax Check function, please refer to section 3.14.2.1.
