1.1 COM1 (COM1 upload/download)
When COM1 is set, it indicates that the data transfer will be accessed through this
COM serial port via the settings of Screen Editor software program.
1.2 COM2 (COM2 upload/download)
When COM2 is set, it indicates that the data transfer will be accessed through this
COM serial port via the settings of Screen Editor software program.
2. Bypass Mode -
Using the Bypass mode, the data transferred by the PC can be received by the HMI
COM ports and then sent to another COM port of the HMI to the PLC. When
planning the system, the user can use this function to update the program of the
PLC immediately. For example, when COM1 port of the HMI is connecting to the
PLC, and the PLC program needs to be updated during operation, the user can
select Bypass mode to transfer the new PLC program in the PC to the HMI via the
COM2 port of the HMI and then download the new PLC program to the PLC via the
COM1 port of the HMI.
