Replacing the SM45 Real-time Clock Battery

A 3.6 V lithium battery provides power to the real-time clock when the SM45 is not powered. Only service personnel should replace the real-time clock battery.

The battery can be replaced with a Tadiran TL-5902/S, or equivalent ½AA non-rechargeable lithium battery.

There is a risk of explosion if the used battery is replaced with an incorrect type. Dispose of the used battery according to the battery manufacturer’s instructions.
