Description
Fig. The thermostat monitors the temperature while the
1machine carries out a program. The heating element contactor is controlled using open and closed contacts.
Fig. The thermostat sensor is located at the lowest
2point of the outer drum to the left of the heating element. A liquid-filled cable (capillary tube) runs from the sensor to the thermostat, located in the automatic control unit. The water temperature controls the liquid expansion and thereby the activation of the various thermostat contacts.
Temperature selection (contact selection) (90°C, 60°C, 40°C or 30°C) is controlled by the programmer and the program selector.

Replacing the thermostat
• Remove the front panel and pull out the | 2 | |
thermostat sensor. | ||

•Undo the capillary tube strapping and replace the thermostat. Install the new capillary tube in the same way as the old one.
