gTear Off (SetU) button

❏Feeds continuous paper forward to the tear-off position.

❏When the printer enters the SelecType mode and default setting mode, the button works as the SetU button. You can press the SetU button to select the previous value of a setting item. See “Changing the printer’s settings” on page 98 for details.

Tear Off light

On when the paper is in the tear-off position.

When you press the Tear Off and Top of Form buttons at the same time, the printer enters or exits the SelecType mode and you can set the various printer settings. See “Changing the settings in the SelecType mode” on page 98 for details.
