Transporting Your Printer

CAUTION:

Never touch any part of the photoconductor unit except the green handles.

Do not expose the photoconductor unit to light brighter than normal room light.

10.Put the photoconductor unit back in its original packaging.

11.Close the printer cover.

12.Place the toner cartridge in its original box, securing it so that it cannot move around inside the box, and seal the box with packing tape. When you transport the cartridge box, make sure you keep it level to avoid spilling toner.

13.Repack the printer, output tray, paper cassette, and accessory box as described in Chapter 1.

14.Seal the main carton with packing tape.

Unpacking the printer after transportation

1.Unpack the printer as described in Chapter 1. When you unpack the toner cartridge, carefully wipe off any toner that spilled during shipment by using a soft, clean cloth.

2.Assemble the printer as described in Chapter 1.
