Connecting the Printer to Your Computer

For the printer to receive and interpret information from your computer, both devices must be set up to communicate properly. You must choose the correct interface cable and communication settings.

Note: After connecting the printer to your computer and before using your application software, be sure to complete Testing the computer-to-printer connection found at the end of this chapter.
