2.3.2 Monitor Connection
You can connect the monitor to the VGA or HDMI port on the rear panel of the DVR. Both of
the VGA and HDMI video outputs can be used simultaneously and deliver full HD resolution
(1920 x 1080, progressive, 60 Hz. Vert., 68 KHz hor.). The monitor connected to the HDMI
port is the Main monitor; while the monitor connected to the VGA port is the Call monitor.
Please make sure the resolution of all cameras are the same as the DVRs setting. Otherwise,
the DVR cannot display video correctly. The default resolution of the DVR is 1920 x 1080.
Please change the cameras setting to 1920 x 1080 before connecting to the DVR. Or change
the desired resolution both on the DVR and camera.

Note:
1. The connected monitorsspecifications must comply with the resolution requirements.
2. Do not exceed the max. HDMI cable length of 15 meters.
3. The standard HDMI cables can support cable length up to 3 meters. For longer
distances, such as 15 meters, it is highly recommended to use high quality HDMI cables.
