6.2 Camera Settings

You can configure the settings for individual camera. The setting options include Basic Setting, Motion and Video Loss.

6.2.1Basic Setting

Camera: Select a camera to be configured.

Title: Click to bring up the on-screen keyboard for assigning a title for the selected camera. Each title supports up to 16 characters.

Install: Check the box to enable the selected camera.

Covert: Check the box to hide the camera stream in Live View and Sequence modes. However, the DVR will still record the videos and the recordings can be played back by users who have the privilege to playback. For details on enabling the Covert function, please refer to 4.7.1 Temporarily Logout.

Record Mode: Select a record mode from the drop-down list. Normal+Event: Continuous and Event recordings.

Event Only: Event recordings only.

Record Dual Stream: Click to enable / disable the dual stream recording function. And then configure the following settings for the Main Stream and Sub Stream.

Resolution: Select a recording resolution for the Main Stream and Sub Stream.
