Release the Control buttons.

NThe serial port settings are protected when front panel Lock mode 2 is selected. You can view the settings in Lock mode 2 but you cannot change them from the front panel. See “Setting the front panel Locks (Executive modes)” on page 3-52.

If front panel Lock mode 2 is selected and you try to perform step 3, the actions are ignored and the Enter, Video, and Audio buttons flash.

3. To change a value, press and release the button that relates to the desired value (figure 3-80).

Rear Panel Operations

The rear panel has a Reset button that initiates four levels of resets

(numbered 1, 3, 4, and 5 for the sake of comparison with an Extron IPL

product). The Reset button is recessed, so use a pointed stylus, ballpoint pen, or Extron Tweeker to access it.

See the following table for a summary of the modes.

CReview the reset modes carefully. Using the wrong reset mode may result in unintended loss of flash memory programming, port reassignment, or a controller reboot.

NThe reset modes listed below close all open IP and Telnet connections and close all sockets. Also, the following modes are separate functions, not a continuation from Mode 1 to Mode 5.
