5.5Adjusting the Gain

You may adjust the display level of the echo sounder picture as below; the gain of the echo sounder itself cannot be adjusted from the sonar.

Note: Set the range and shift so they are the same as those set on the echo sounder. This setting does not affect the original echo sounder setting.

1.Press the [MENU] key to open the menu.

2.Select OTHERS and press the [MENU] key.

3.Select ES1 SETTING (or ES2 SETTING) and press the [MENU] key.

4. Select GAIN and press the [MENU] key.

5.Use the trackball to select ▲ or ▼ and press the [MENU] key to select gain desired. The setting range is 0-10. The higher the setting the greater the gain.

6.Select QUIT and press the [MENU] key.

7.Select QUIT at the top of the menu screen and press the [MENU] key to close the menu.
