4-14.NOISE SIDEBANDS

SPECIFICATION:

Noise sidebands are at least 70 dB below a CW signal, 30 kHz or more away from the signal with a 1 kHz resolution bandwidth and full video filtering.

DESCRIPTION:

A stable 1.8 GHz CW signal is applied at a - 20 dBm level to the spectrum analyzer and displayed on the CRT The amplitudes of noise-associatedsidebands and unwanted responses near the signal are measured.
