4.6.2 Native Mode

Use Native mode to access devices attached to add-in cards. Native mode is not supported by many legacy operating systems. PCI Plug-n-Play BIOS assigns addresses and the IRQ is shared with multiple controllers. The PCI Configuration Space contains Base Address Registers for the Command and Control Block.
