5.Remove the hard drive by following these steps:

a.Turn the notebook upside down with the rear panel toward you.

b.Loosen the 4 PM2.5×4.0 screws 1 that secure the hard drive cover to the notebook.

c.Lift the cover 2 straight up to remove it from the notebook.

✎The hard drive cover is included in the Miscellaneous Plastics Kit, spare part number 344852-001 for use with

HP zd7000 models, and spare part number 370805-001 for use with HP Compaq nx9500 models.
