IDE Read Prefetch:

The default setting is “Disabled”. Read prefetch can improve performance of your system. IDE CD-ROM devices and some operating systems may not work properly with this feature “Enabled”.

IDE Hard Disk Drive 1

IDE Hard Disk Drive 1 (if installed) is attached to IDE connector 1 on the system board and is set as the slave device.

Size:

The default is set to “Not installed“.

IDE CD-ROM Drive 2

IDE CD-ROM Drive 2 is attached to IDE connector 2 on the system board and a pre-installed CD-ROM drive is connected here.

IDE Performance:

The “High Performance“ mode allows IDE devices attached to the system board IDE controller to utilize any performance enhancement features the device may support. If it does not function properly, set this field to the “Compatible“ mode. The default is set to “High Performance“.

Audio Setup

Audio Support:

This parameter enables or disables the onboard audio controller chipset. This item does not appear in the menu if there is no physical audio chipset on the system board. The default setting is Enabled.
