To avoid risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury, and/or poor machine performance, read all safety information before operating the copier and heed all safety precautions. If you have any questions or concerns about safety matters, contact a Konica service representative.

Keep this manual permanently located with the copier, and in good, legible condition. The manual should be readily available to all users.

Safety Alert Symbols

Safety Alert Symbols are attached to some inside areas of the machine and are also used in this manual to alert you to potentially hazardous situations or conditions. The following are typical examples of safety alert indicators used on product labeling.

DANGER

Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death of serious injury.

WARNING

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.

CAUTION

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.

NOTE: The above safety alert information is presented for better understanding of hazardous situations. Since this product has only the potential for hazardous situations classified under CAUTION, only CAUTION indications will be found on the copier and in this manual.
