TheHomeTheaterStandardremotecontrol provideson andoff, input selection, processingmodeselection, speakervolumeandbalanceadjust, andmutefunctions, as well as accessto the SystemSetupa.nd Configurationmenu.

Tosendoperationalinstructions directly into the HomeTheaterStandardusingan RS- 232basedexternal ~;.o.ntrol device, see RS-232Port:SendingCommands Interpreting Data, the developer'sreferenceshippedwith the HomeTheaterStandard.

BATTERY INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL

TheHomeTheaterStandardhandheldremotecontrol usestwo AAA-size1.5 Volt batteries. Batteriesareincludedwith the shipment.

Toinstall or replacethebatteries:

1.Removethe backplate, using the Torx wrenchprovided.

2.Install thebatteriesfollowingthebatterypositiondiagramonthe plastic battery receptacle.

3.Replacethe backplate.

4.Theremotecontrol is readyfor operation.

Replacebatteries whenremotecontrol function becomesintermittent.

Removebatteries,if the remotecontrol is not to be usedfor a long pedodof time. Battery leakagecandamagethe remotecontrol,

Power Functions

56 AmpKey

Usethis keyto poweron/off a Krell remotecontrolamplifier.

57 HTSKey

Usethis key to switch the HomeTheaterSystemunit betweenstand-bymodeand operational mode.

Note

Whenyoupoweroff while zone2 is selected,only zone2 turns off. Pressthe power button or the HTSkeya secondtime to poweroff the mainzone.
