6.Installation

6.4Connection to Power Supply System

After transporting, wait at least 4 hours before turning the instrument on. This waiting period is necessary to allow the compressor oil, which may have been displaced during transport, to re- turn into its original position. Furthermore, any condensation that has formed during this time due to temperature fluctuations must be allowed to dry completely.

Failure to comply with this can cause severe damage to the instrument!

During the start-up of the compressor the nominal voltage must not drop below the values specified in the "Technical Data".

Please note that the compressor requires a start-up current between 25 and 35 A.

Therefore, the electric circuit at the installation site must be inspected by an electrical engineer to ensure that it meets the requirements for a smooth operation of the instrument. Failure to comply with the above will cause severe damage to the instrument!

Check mains voltage and mains frequency to comply with the specifica- tion on the type plate.

Do not connect any other consumers to this electric circuit.

Never connect the instrument to a power socket that does not have a protective conductor terminal.
