Yourprojectormighthaveoneormoreaudio-inputconnectors.Toprojectsound,youwillneedtoattachthe
comboaudiojackonyourcomputertotheseconnectors,usinganaudiocable(commerciallyavailable).
UsingtheExtenddesktopfunction
YourcomputersupportstheExt enddesktopfunction.WiththeExtenddesktopfunction,youcandisplay
outputonboththecomputerdisplayandanexternalmonitor.Y oualsocandisplaydifferentdesktopimages
oneachmonitor.
YoucanusetheExtenddesktopfunctionwithoutchanginganysettings.Ifthefunctiondoesnotwork,refer
to“EnablingtheExtenddesktopfunction”onpage41.
ConsiderationsforusingtheExtenddesktopfunction
•IfyouwanttoshowDOSfull-screenwhileinExtenddesktopmode,onlytheprimarydisplayshows
DOS;theotherdisplayisblackedout.
•IfyourcomputerhastheIntel®graphicscard,youcandesignatetheprimarydisplaybydoingthefollowing:
1.P ressCtrl+Alt+Fn+F12.TheIntelCUIwindowopens.
2.SelectExtendedDesktop.
3.Changethesettingtodesignatetheprimarydisplay.
•IfyourcomputerhastheAMD®graphicscard,youcandesignatetheprimarydisplaybydoingthe
following:
1.Right-clickonthedesktopandthenselectScreenresolution.
2.SelectExtendthesedisplaysinMultipleDisplays.
3.Changethesettingtodesignatetheprimarydisplay.
