5.Close the idle roll arm (2) and latch the spring loaded pres- sure arm (1) in place. Rotate the spool counterclockwise if required in order to take up extra slack in the wire.

6.The idle roll pressure adjustment wing nut is factory set to approximately five full turns from where the wing nut first engages the threads of the pressure arm (1). If feeding problems occur because the wire is flattened excessively, turn the pressure adjustment counter-clockwise to reduce distortion of the wire. Slightly less pressure may be required when using 0.023 – 0.025" (0,6 mm) wire. If the drive roll slips while feeding wire, the pressure should be increased until the wire feeds properly.

WARNING

When inching the welding wire, the drive rolls, the gun connector block and the gun contact tip are electrically energized relative to work and ground and remain ener- gized for several seconds after the gun trigger is released.

5.Cierre el brazo del rodillo de presión (2) y ajuste correc- tamente el brazo de presión con resorte (1). Si es nece- sario, gire la bobina hacia la izquierda para estirar más el alambre.

6.La tuerca de mariposa de ajuste del rodillo de presión viene de fabrica con un ajuste de aproximadamente cinco vueltas completas desde donde la tuerca de mariposa engancha primero los rosques del brazo de presión (1). Si ocurren problemas de alimentación debido a que el alambre se estira de manera excesiva, gire el ajuste de presión hacia la izquierda para reducir la distorsión del alambre. Se puede requerir una presión ligeramente menor al utilizar alambre de 0.023 - 0.025" (0,6 mm). Si el rodillo impulsor se resbala mientras se realiza la ali- mentación del alambre, se deberá aumentar la presión hasta que el alambre se alimente adecuadamente.

ADVERTENCIA

Cuando se desplaza alambre de soldadura, los rodillos impulsores, el bloque conector de la antorcha y la punta de contacto de la misma se energizan eléctricamente en relación con el trabajo y la tierra, y permanecen ener- gizados durante varios segundos después de liberar el gatillo de la antorcha.

5.Fermer le bras du galet mené (2) et verrouiller le bras de pression à ressort (1). S’il y a lieu, faire tourner la bobine vers la gauche afin de rattraper le mou excédentaire du fil.

6.L’écrou à ailettes de réglage de la pression du galet mené est serré en usine d’environ cinq tours complets sur le bras de pression (1). S’il y a un problème de dévidage parce que le fil est trop aplati, desserrer l’écrou vers la gauche pour réduire la déformation du fil. Une pression légèrement inférieure peut être nécessaire quand on utilise le fil de 0,023 à 0,025 po (0,6 mm). Si le galet d’en- traînement patine lors du dévidage du fil, on doit aug- menter la pression jusqu’à ce que le fil se dévide cor-
