To set up share-level access for NT or 2000

1On the Windows computer desktop, double-click the My Computer icon.

2Right-click the drive or directory that you want the voice messaging system to share and then click the Sharing menu.

3Select the “Share this folder” field and set the appropriate Share name.

NOTE: If you are sharing drive C, do not use the default C$ setting. Instead, select “New Share” and create a new sharing profile.

4Click “Permissions,” select “Everyone” and then click “Remove.”

5In the Permissions dialogue box, click “Add” and add the Guest or new user account that you set up in the previous procedure.

6Then set up the read/write privileges for this user account and click “Apply.”
