Setting Up Your Mailbox

Voice-Only Voicemail Access

You also can record your name. By default, the greetings listed in Table 9 say “The person at extension extension-numberis unavailable/busy”. If you record your name, the greetings say your name instead of “The person at extension extension-number”.

To return a greeting to its default value, you can erase it.

Changing Your Voicemail Password

1Sign in to the voicemail system. (See “Signing In to the DiVitas Server Voicemail System” on page 81.)

2Press 0 to access voicemail options.

3Press 5.

The voicemail system prompts you to enter your new password.

4Enter the new password.

The voicemail system prompts you to enter your new password again, to ensure you typed the numbers you intended to type.

5Enter the new password again.

6When you are finished, press End.

7Dial into the DiVitas Server voicemail system again and test the new password.

Changing Your Name

1Sign in to the voicemail system. (See “Signing In to the DiVitas Server Voicemail System” on page 81.)

2Press 0 to access voicemail options.

3Press 3.

4After the tone, say your name.

5Press #.

6Press 2 to listen to your recording.

7Press 1 to save the recording or press 3 to rerecord it.

8Hang up, or select another option. (See Figure 26 on page 84.)
