Checking ﬂash memory use

Use this procedure to check use of the ﬂash memory.

Procedure steps

Step Action

1From the menu bar, choose Edit > File System.

The File System dialog box opens with the Copy File tab displayed (see "Copy File tab" (page 58)).

2Click the Device Info tab.

The Device Info tab appears (see "Device Info tab" (page 59)).

The Device Info tab shows the amount of memory used and available for both onboard ﬂash memory and an installed PCMCIA card, as well as the number of ﬁles in each location. The Action ﬁeld allows you to reset the PCMCIA card.

Viewing ﬁle names on the Flash

Use this procedure to view the names and sizes of switch ﬁles.

Procedure steps

Step Action

1From the menu bar, choose Edit > File System.

2Click the Flash Files tab

The Flash Files tab appears (see "Flash Files tab" (page 60)).
