Paper Setup

NOTE

Within the Media Type menu, do not use the Recycled setting. If you are loading recycled media choose the Plain setting.

	Media Type	Tray 1:	Select the type of media loaded in

			and fusing temperature, to better

			accommodate the media to be fed.

			is set to “Auto”) is defined as
			containing PLAIN media type.
	Media Weight	Tray 1:	Adjusts the unit for the weight of
		Light, Medium, Heavy	paper stock loaded in this tray.
		Tray 2 and 3:
		Light, Medium, Heavy, Ultra

	Custom	Width: 2.5~8.5~11.7 inches	Enter paper width and length.
		Length: 4.1~11~47.2 inches	Note that media of up to 47.2 inches
			in length can be fed from the multi
			purpose tray for banner printing.
	Media Type	Plain, Letter Head, OHP, Labels,	Select the type of media to be fed
		Bond, Recycled, Card Stock,	from the multi purpose tray so that
		Rough, Glossy	the unit can adjust its internal
			parameters to better accommodate
			the selected type of media.
